Pulsar Nova Sound Level Meter

The Nova from Pulsar is a state of art digital real-time sound level meter, manufactured in the United Kingdom and developed to meet the latest industry standards for occupational and environmental noise measurement.

Developed to meet the latest industry standards for noise measurement and released in 2013, the new generation Pulsar Nova is set to redefine the measurement of sound.

With a range of 6 models, the Nova appeals to all users of Sound Level decibel meters, from entry level general noise levels, right through to occupational and health and safety exposure measurements, professional acoustic technicians, and everyone in between.

The state-of-the-art new Nova has been ergonomically designed, with its unique shape maximising comfort, ease of use and simplicity of accurate measurement. The combination of a rugged metal casing and a high definition colour OLED, large anti-glare display, make the Pulsar Nova the most robust sound level meter on the market. All this is achieved whilst remaining easy to use and a cost effective solution to noise measurement in the workplace. Unlike many other highly advanced and fully featured sound level meters, the Nova stays true to Pulsar's approach of ease of use equipment. The intuitive menu on the Nova is so simple to navigate, with all the applicable measurements clear and easy to read. The user can even personalise the meter, by choosing which measurement data he/she wants to appear on their Nova. The multi-dialect menu accomodates for English, Spanish, French, German & Italian languages.

All this from a meter than has been conceived, designed, developed and manufactured in Yorkshire in Britain.

For longterm outdoor environmental monitoring, an optional kit is available and measurements can be downloaded remotely via GSM.

If the calibration testing of the Nova meter is maintained as per calibration dates, the warranty of the Nova extends to 7 years!
